Position Overview
We’re seeking a dynamic, results-driven Marketing Director to lead all marketing efforts at FirstIgnite. This role will own our brand presence, multi-channel marketing strategy, and demand generation for both existing and upcoming products. The ideal candidate is an experienced marketing leader who thrives in high-growth SaaS environments, can execute quickly, and has a proven track record in driving measurable results through digital and event marketing.
Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute an integrated marketing strategy across digital, events, and partner channels.
- Build campaigns to support the launch of Direct-to-Student and Direct-to-Faculty products.
- Align marketing goals with company growth targets, collaborating closely with sales, product, and leadership.

Website & SEO
- Manage and optimize the FirstIgnite website for conversion and brand storytelling.
- Own SEO strategy to increase organic visibility and inbound lead generation.

Demand Generation & Campaigns
- Oversee multi-channel campaigns including email, LinkedIn, paid search, content marketing, and webinars.
- Develop marketing funnels that nurture prospects from awareness through to customer acquisition.

Events & Webinars
- Plan and execute FirstIgnite-hosted webinars for product education and lead generation.
- Manage conference participation, including booth design, speaking engagements, and post-event follow-up strategies.

Content & Brand
- Lead creation of high-quality marketing assets (case studies, whitepapers, videos, presentations).
- Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all channels and materials.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role in SaaS or B2B technology.
- Proven track record of launching products and building go-to-market campaigns.
- Deep understanding of SEO, website optimization, and marketing analytics.
- Experience managing webinars, conferences, and large-scale multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and pivot quickly.
